Membership Opportunities
Welcome
IBEW Local 96 started over one hundred years ago, when electrical workers determined the best way to increase wages, conditions, and benefits, was to join with other workers to have a more powerful unified voice and insure that their demands were met. Today, the same holds true, when workers unite and organize, they are not "at-will employees" at the mercy of their bosses decisions, they become a union. If you are an apprentice or interested in becoming one, please contact Dave delaGorgendiere, Training Director at (508) 753-8635, extension 107 or email: david@ibewlocal96.org . If you are an electrician or system technician interested in joining, or want more information contact:
George Carpenter Business Development Director (508) 753-8635, extension 105 email: george@ibewlocal96.org More about the IBEW
Our Members Live Better As union members, we bargain collectively with our employers over wages, benefits, and rights. Most of us have very limited bargaining power as one person, but as a group, we are strong. And, with a good negotiated contract, we have legal protections we would not have otherwise.
