Membership
IBEW Local 96 started over one hundred years ago, when electrical workers determined the best way to increase wages, conditions, and benefits, was to join with other workers to have a more powerful unified voice and insure that their demands were met.
Today, the same holds true, when workers unite and organize, they are not “at-will employees” at the mercy of their bosses decisions, they become a union.
If you are an an apprentice, an electrician or system technician interested in joining, or want more information contact the Union office at (508) 753-8635 or email: info@ibewlocal96.org

Our Members Live Better
As union members, we bargain collectively with our employers over wages, benefits, and rights.
Most of us have very limited bargaining power as one person, but as a group, we are strong. And, with a good negotiated contract, we have legal protections we would not have otherwise.
