IBEW Local 96 Now at Full Employment

IBEW Local 96 is currently at full employment as nearly 400 active electicians and VDV technicians are working on diverse projects throughout Central Massachusetts, including major solar projects in Shrewsbury and Hopkinton, as well as ongoing electrical projects at College of the Holy Cross, UMASS Medical Center, the Eversource 115kV utility project in Hudson, and at WPI’s Foise Innovation Studio and Residence Hall.

The union is currently reviewing more than 80 applicants for the incoming Local 96 / JATC apprenticeship class.
